Good atmosphere, country house style hotel. Close to the main st in Headingly. Only problem with room was that there was only one plug for a hairdryer which was shared with the kettle and desk had to be moved to use. |

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was off the main street, so it was fairly quiet and peaceful - even on the rowdy Friday and Saturday nights. It was ideally placed for Headingley cricket and rugby grounds. |

The food in the restaurant was excellent - staff friendly The first room we were allocated was very dated and dark and the bathroom had an unpleasant smell. We were moved to a lovely room which had clearly been modernised and was excellent. |

The room was large and comfartable, as was the large bed. The service at breakfast was very slow and poor. I had to ask at reception for someone to serve in the bar and drinks were extremely expensive! |

Very helpful staff and lovely newly refurbished room. It is ideally placed for cricket and is very quiet. Breakfast at 8.45 was cold and very overcooked. When asked if the breakfast was freshly cooked the waiter assured us it was. 'The chef cooks it at 6.ooam every morning' |

The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The food was very good and our turret room was spacious with a lovely view. It was newly refurbished to a good standard. The room needed a little more finishing with better lighting and a bedside table with lamp. |
